Pathway from the back office : Sales animation > Discount code

On this page, you can create discount codes to liven up your shop, highlight certain products or services or reward loyal customers. This way, you'll get more customers and more orders.

By default, you'll see a list of your existing codes, which you can modify or delete. You can also check their validity, sort them or filter them if you're looking for a particular one.

To enable your customers to use the codes, first activate the functionality, if your subscription allows. Your shop basket will then display an additional input field for users.

You can define 3 different types of code. Either the code applies globally to the customer's order, or to an item, or to a service.

Select the type and click on the create button. You must then fill in all the characteristics.
In the "Description" block, fill in the code to be entered. A uniqueness check will tell you whether it can be used. You can also indicate whether it applies automatically, so that users do not need to enter it when ordering.

For your customers to benefit from these promotional advantages, you need to create them.

Depending on the type of code, other fields may appear. For example, for tyre type codes, you can restrict the application to certain seasons, brands, models or diameters.

In the "Conditions of application" block, for codes that apply to an order or a service, you can also define conditions for the items in the basket.

In the "Discount" block, you define the amount of the promotion, in percentage or in value. You can specify a maximum limit that cannot be exceeded. Finally, you can define a fixed or unlimited number of uses.

A code is valid for a certain period, defined by the start and end dates in the "Validity period" block.

Finally, you can make the application of this code conditional on a minimum basket value, a minimum number of tyres or the absence of a promotional product.

In the "Application conditions" block, for codes that apply to an order or a service, you can also define conditions for items in the basket.

Once the code has been created, if it is valid, your customers can benefit from it.

You can also view the use of codes in the list in the back office.

You can enter as many codes as you like. Please note that if a user enters a promotional code when another code of the same type already exists in their basket, it will replace the previous code if it is more advantageous.
