Pathway from the back office: Design > Homepage > Browsing menu
There are three default tabs in the browsing menu : Greeting, Services, and contact Us. You can preserve these tabs, remove them or modify them.
Note that, in the case of a multilingual site, you must change language before creating - modifying your menu in the corresponding language.
1. Add new tabs
For example, you can create the tab “Our centre”. For that, register ‘Our centre’ in the insert Name, line. Your new tab will bear this name.
Then insert a URL, i.e. the page address corresponding to your centre. If you do not tick the relative box URL, the URL you pick must include HTTP, the name of your shop and the path of your new tab. If you tick URL relative, you will only need the path of your new tab.
To find the correct URL, do not hesitate to click over "Go to your shop" in order to see all the pages which exist and to log into those which you want to propose. You can then copy and paste the URL address of the page which interests you.
If you tick "New tab", that means that with the click on this tab on your online shop, the page will open in a new tab. If not it will override the displayed page.
You can then click on "Add" (the blue + symbol), your new tab of the menu will be added.
2. Edit tabs
For example, by default this tab is displayed in the last in your menu of browsing. By using the arrows, you will be able to change the position of each bond.
3. Remove a tab
Simply click on Remove (the red bin button) then save. The tab will not appear any more on your shop but the corresponding page will still be accessible via other paths.
4. Add a sub-menu in a tab
It's the same process that adding a menu but you have to save 2 times to apply modifications :
- in the sub-menu
- then in the menu
Tips :
Save all your amendments before leaving your page. We advise you to check all functions and links work, by testing the menu on your shop, using the "Go to your shop" button.
