The elements entered in the address bar are interpreted by Google, which returns latitude/longitude (symbolized by the house) and calculates the distance, ranking the shops from closest to furthest away. The default search is within a maximum radius of 25km. If a dealer is too far from this point, it's because Google has decided that the search ends elsewhere.
The information entered must be relevant to the dealer's address.
First Example :
Here's an example on Tyreplus UAE. If we search for "Manama St Industrial First". The first result will not be TYREPLUS Safeer Tyres which is located to Manama St Industrial First because the address given at the start is not precise enough.
A number in addition to the street makes the search very precise. Google will interpret "Manama St Industrial First" (which is a large street highlighted in green) as being located here.
So as the crow flies, TYREPLUS CTC Silicon Oasis is closer to the google location than TYREPLUS Safeer Tyres.

2nd example :
When we type something into the search bar, it's a yepgarage option that displays dealers' names that might match what we've entered.
But when we hit "Enter" to launch the search, elements entered in the address bar are interpreted by google, which then geocodes them and calculates the distance, ranking the shops from closest to furthest away that's why we have this result.
Here "door to door" is not precise enough, it's not an address element like a city or a street. The search result you get is the same as if you had gone to the dealer locator without a search.
3rd exemple :
You are searching POS for Hållnäs - Sverige with an å but the results are wrong.
In the top results, it shows results for Hällnäs with an ä (which is another city of Sverige but more in the north), then dealers near from Hållnäs.
