Pathway from the back office : Offer > Price > Tire rates > Definite prices by file import
In this section, you can set and update the selling prices of the tyres of your catalog by importing a file.
Step 1 :
Activate “Tire rate active in the shop”
Step 2 :
To set your prices via an import file, you have two options :
- the simplified version
-> for quick and easy updating
you can add or modify the selling prices by using only EAN codes of the tyres - the detailed version
-> more informative, as you'll find the main product information (brand, profile, size, etc.) and necessary if you wish to set up crossed out prices for exemple
Note that :
We advise you to export all your tires from the backoffice, update what you're interested in and then import, to avoid missing columns, random copy/paste, etc. but you can import a file with only the tires you wish to update. Only products in the file will be updated.
In all cases, the columns have to be respected, otherwise it does not work.
1. Simplified version
Choose a file + Choose a starting date>Import new prices
- Column A : EAN of the tyre
- Column B : Current price including all taxes, if any
If the column B about price is empty, there will be no price displayed (and depending on the product display settings existing in the backoffice, those tyres won't be displayed on your site).
To remove a price, you have to put the price at 0 in the column B.
2. Detailed version
Choose a file>Import new prices
2. Detailed version
- Columns A to I : informations about the products
- Mandatory columns :
Column H : EAN - mandatory
Column L : actual price displayed online - mandatory
Column M : new price - mandatory
Column N : starting date of the new price (if empty the actual price do not change) - mandatory
Tips : to remove a price, you have to put the price 0 in the column M.
If you have discount with crossed out prices to apply, this documentation can help you.
Step 3 :
Import complete→ Click on “See details” to have the file with the products without prices
One price can not be imported in reason of :
- a mistake into the row into the Excel File
- the brand are not selected before on the import
- product have no price
Step 4 : optional - if VAT is applied to your shop
Column K : Reference prices
Column L : Sales price posted
Column S : Original price
Column T : VAT
Column U : Discount in percentage or in number (local currency) --> corresponds to margin
Calculation of prices :
column K = column S * column T
column L = column K * column U
Ecotax (if applied to your shop) will not be displayed or calculated here. For more information, consult this guide here.
The concept of "provider" does not concern the prices.
